Get to know the MAGIC women during Women's Month

MAGIC Bodyfashion was founded to support women in many different ways. The core vision of MAGIC has always been the empowerment of women, which is why we have dedicated ourselves to create body solutions for women all around the world. At MAGIC, we think women are beautiful in all their own shapes and sizes and we hope all women think that about themselves too. MAGIC was founded by women for women. And that is why we are proud to announce that we are going to celebrate women a little more this month, why do you ask? Well, because it’s women's month!

In the theme of women's month, we would like to introduce you to some of our incredible female employees and interns. We have asked for them to briefly talk about what makes them feel happy, loved and powerful. 

Let's start with Linda, the CEO of MAGIC. Linda gets her daily energy from her children. She loves them with all her heart and they feel the exact same way about her as well. The love shared with her children gives her a sense of power. When she looks at them, she feels happy. Another source of inspiration that Linda feeds off is her granddaughter, who always manages to put a smile on her face.



Let’s talk about Rishma, Rishma is our online specialist. She tells us that there is nothing better than having some green plants in your house to make your space look fresh and beautiful. Not only do they bring natural beauty to your living space, but plants have been proven to reduce stress and lift your mood! A year ago, she started with one plant and now they just keep growing (in size and numbers). She loves caring for them and simply admires their presence which brings her joy. During her free time, you'll find her either cleaning off the dust from her plant's, repotting them or moving them around her apartment to find the best spot with the best light. Besides taking care of plants, she loves doing yoga and reading. This is how Rishma seeks her source of inspiration and relaxation during these crazy times!



At MAGIC we also have our lovely group of interns. One of them is Xixi. Xixi is an intern at the media and design department. She tells us that she sticks to her daily routines and that giving herself some spontaneous surprises during the day already makes her feel motivated and joyful. She likes to wear some make-up and dress up every day to keep herself inspired. Buying some fresh flowers, lighting up some scented candles and indulging in some online shopping is what gives her satisfaction. She feels that it is important to stay motivated and allows for even the smallest things to make her daily life special.
 


Anja is our sales & customer support agent. She feels happy while cooking and having dinner with her friends. She enjoys long walks in nature and her holidays up in the mountains. Her favorite thing to do is being on the terrace enjoying the sunshine with a good glass of wine. Like some of the other MAGIC women, she enjoys the company of having fresh flowers in her house.



Next we have Annelies, she is our sales representative. This is a photo she took by the woods near her home. Her source of relaxation to deal with these difficult times usually includes going for walks around her beautiful surroundings that nature has to provide. It is so quiet and peaceful. You hear nothing but some birds. This is what makes Annelies happy and gives her positive energy!



Janine is our team leader from the Benelux sales. What makes her happy every day is her family, health and friendship with people around her. She really enjoys spending time with her family, her relatives and seeing the people she works with. Sometimes she sees herself in her kids and that's great. Coming home each day to be with her family and loved ones is what gives her the motivation and joy to keep moving forward.



Femke is our administrative assistant. Travelling is what brings her joy. Whilst travelling, she has made some of her best memories and she stated how traveling alone can be difficult at times, however, can also bring the best out of you in terms of personal growth! When the world opens up again she would like to travel to the Philippines. Let’s hope this can turn into a reality soon for Femke!
 


Maaike is our finance intern. She is always happy when her house is clean and organized! She believes that an organized house is also an organized mind. Maaike finds that a fresh bouquet of flowers on the table can always brighten up her space. 



Susanne is our product manager. She loves coming home after a busy day of work and seeing her daughter smiling at her as soon as she walks through the door. Susanne enjoys having dinner with her family and also some ‘chill’ time before it’s bedtime. Cherishing every little moment with her family together! 



Elise is our sales and customer support agent. She is most happy when she is surrounded by her family and friends. Laughing, talking, hearing the birdsongs in spring, sitting out in the sun, enjoying a glass of wine and listening to some music is what she loves most.



Mariska is our multi media manager. Her first magical moment of the day starts with the morning greetings from her children! Besides that, she loves driving to and from work each day. Mariska enjoys the small moments whilst driving, such as turning on some good music and singing as if nobody's watching! 



Angelique is our multimedia and design employee. Angelique enjoys playing guitar because she can put all her emotions in it. Playing the guitar lets her get lost in her own world and allows her to forget about everything else for a while. This gives her a sense of control and joy that she can use when playing the guitar. 



Natasja is our sales and customer support agent. She feels that learning new things each day from her family, friends and MAGIC colleagues can bring her a whole bunch of joy and happiness. This has shaped who she is today, and she hopes to keep learning and developing her strengths so she can achieve her goals! 



Isabel is our multi media intern. She feels blessed to have her loving friends by her side. When she is with them, she always has a great time. She loves them each in their own way. They help her through the tough times and show her that even without a man she is a strong independent woman. Being with her friends and doing fun things together makes Isabel feel eternally grateful to have such wonderful friendships.



Rachel is our product development intern. She loves starting her day off with a fresh cup of coffee! The moment she wakes up she thinks "coffee first". The smell is what she likes the most and that makes her happy. She enjoys sipping her coffee in the morning when the sun starts shining through her garden room! The satisfaction from starting her day like this brings her happiness, joy and motivation to push forward.



Ruth is our multimedia and design employee. What brings her happiness and joy is being surrounded by her family, friends, and roommates! She is always having a good laugh and loves the energy that her family and friends bring her.



Liveta is our social media and PR employee. She has always been drawn towards creativity and art. Reading poetry, exploring museums and getting inspired by other people’s artistic work is what makes her truly happy. When she gathers a lot of inspiration and great energy from others, she creates art herself. This makes her feel powerful as it allows her to express her feelings and thoughts in a creative way. She enjoys painting, making digital art, writing poetry, as well as making ceramics. 



Luying is our Amazon intern. She believes that having her own thoughts and opinions is what gives her a sense of control and power. Another aspect that brings her joy and happiness is surrounded by the fact that she is happy with who she is! 



These are some of our lovely employees. We hope you have become inspired by the passions of others. Let's always celebrate women together, but this month a little bit more. Because everyone is different and special in their own way!
